TMG is excited to announce the second annual TMG Utility Forum Next-Gen Student Scholarship Program in conjunction with the 2024 Utility Forum in Denver, CO, on October 23-24, 2024.
The TMG Utility Forum brings together a powerful network of utilities (water, electric, and gas), industry innovators, and thought leaders committed to customer-centric business transformation of the energy and utilities sector, sharing topics central to the evolution of today’s utility.
The 2024 Utility Forum will showcase utility AI and customer experience programs and provide opportunities to network with fellow industry experts. Utility executives have a unique opportunity to hear directly from other utilities as they share success stories about their AI, Customer Experience, Energy Efficiency programs, and more!
This year’s Forum will kick off with Keynote Speaker Karl Mecklenburg. Karl Mecklenburg rose from a college football walk-on and twelfth-round draft choice to become one of the top players in Denver Broncos history. During his twelve-year career with the Broncos, Mecklenburg played in three Super Bowls and six Pro Bowls and was named team captain. Karl is widely known as the most versatile player in NFL history, having played all seven defensive front positions, sometimes during a single game.
“We recognized the need for a new generation in the utility industry and hope to provide students with industry-related programs with opportunities to meet prospective employers and mentors, as well as provide them with timely hands-on information they may not have access to otherwise,” stated Amanda Baak, Vice President–Marketing, at TMG, an RIA company. “We are excited to continue this program in the Northwest region for 2024.”
The 2023 Utility Forum Next Generation Student Scholarship recipients included students from North Carolina State University, The University of North Carolina, and Montana Tech University: Ralph Cullom, Bruno Cinelli Linhales, Renne Boisvert, Dalton Southerland, Parag Saxena, and Andrew Daigle.
The scholarship application is open to current undergraduate and graduate students in the greater Denver area. Applicant must be 21 years or older. Applications for the 2024 Utility Forum Next-Gen Student Scholarship program can be submitted here.
